Esteemed PJ, your foresight in advocating for Haiti's inclusion in CARICOM was indeed astute.
There's got to be a morning after, and indeed, many mornings after Haiti's titanic, early twenty-first century Troubles.
As Haiti now sets about returning to internal stability and security, it's time to imagine and chart an early course towards the resurgence of the remarkable economic performance, innovation, and happiness it once epitomized in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Through respectful collaboration, our Caribbean neighbors and we can play a pivotal role in this revival, mutually benefiting from a renewed partnership with Haiti's inherently vibrant spirit, unshackled.
We all breathe, bleed, and sweat under the same Caribbean Sun.
